It is the policy of Dearneside Fabrications Limited to pursue and maintain the highest standards of Health and Safety, in accordance with our duty under section 2(3) of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, fulfilling its obligations to both employees and the public who might be affected by our activities.

Dearneside Fabrications consider the provision of a safe work place and the use of safe working practices to be the utmost priority and we are justifiably proud of our safety performance record. All of our employees are fully trained in their duties and the operations they undertake. We ensure that our site teams are holders of all relevant, legally required certification. This enables operations such as working at heights, working in confined spaces and acting as slingers and banksmen to be carried out safely. As would be expected our site management and personnel are all CSCS accredited and have completed the requisite Health and Safety examinations.

In addition to our full time Health and Safety Officer we have regular consultation with an external independent Health and Safety Advisor. We carry out regular site inspections, and provide written reports and assessments as part of our proactive approach to Health and Safety.
